Well, I'd been in denial that I'd have to do it, but it seems the opening of Fashioned By Jaye will be bumped back about a week. Stupid Department of Revenue has a backlog so the change form I mailed them, oh, a MONTH ago still hadn't been processed. Without that stupid little piece of paper, I can't get my bank account in the proper business name and can't get my city retail license. So it's holding up everything. I called them today and I should have my license in about a week, or so they say. I just hope it's only a week. Okay, I suppose I can live with two weeks. Maybe. You know, I've REALLY got to start making some money at some point soon.
Granted, with the awesome deal on tables I found yesterday, I've got a little bit more wiggle room. Gotta love clearance!
And, you know, this does mean I can destress just a little bit about the whole thing. Seven extra days of work time is a good thing, I guess.
